Oh beautiful for spacious skies, for mountains, hills and plains.
It's time we apologize for our ill-gotten gains!
Our white ancestors stole this land from those already here,
displacing and enslaving out of ignorance and fear.
Ignorance and fear are still widespread across this land.
The headway we were making was built on shifting sand.
We must dispel the central myth of a natural hierarchy.
There’s no such thing, and freedom rings only in democracy!
Because all living beings are so interdependent,
there's no being near or far to whom knees should be bent!
Racism is just a tool and capitalism too.
