HTeaO, a Texas-based tea shop that serves sweetened and unsweetened tea in an assortment of flavors and topped with optional cream, will open its first spot in Tucson.
HTeaO will open its first Tucson store on Speedway and Camino Miramonte, next door to Rancho Center.
The shop has leased vacant land on the southwest corner of East Speedway and North Camino Miramonte, just east of North Country Club Road.
HTeaO is a national chain with nearly 200 stores across the country.
Its new location, just west of the newly remodeled Rancho Center, was previously considered for development of apartments with a rooftop restaurant. Other developers looked at the site for single-family homes.

Work is ongoing to prepare the empty lot on Camino Miramonte and Speedway for a future HTeaO shop, which is expected to open in 2027.
The parcel was leased from local firm Larsen Baker to a third party that negotiated with HTeaO.
The Texas chain HTeaO carries many flavors of iced tea and coffee.
Construction is underway. No opening date has been announced.
