A Texas aerospace and defense contractor that focuses on warfighter-relevant products has expanded into Tucson.
Albers Aerospace leased 30,000 square feet at 3480 E. Brittania Drive, near Valencia and Palo Verde roads, and plans to add 24 jobs in operations and manufacturing once it is fully operational.
Positions currently advertised at the Tucson location are for CNC Machinists, but no information on salary was provided.
Based in McKinney, Texas, Albers Aerospace services include precision machining, complex assemblies, specialized containers, surface treatment and welding.

It was founded in 2015. In 2025, it bought Tucson-based Parallel Ventures, which provided a connection to customers in the defense and commercial aerospace industry.

"Proximity to our customers, access to raw materials, good transportation infrastructure and a superior technical workforce are all critical to our strategic growth plans.”
The Chamber of Southern Arizona said the company’s expansion into Tucson reinforces the economic development focus on aerospace and defense manufacturing.

In addition to the Chamber of Southern Arizona, partners in bringing Albers to Tucson include the Arizona Commerce Authority, Pima County, the City of Tucson, Picor and Commercial Real Estate Group of Tucson.
Home to Raytheon, Tucson has seen dozens of subcontractors open or expand in the area in recent months.
Raytheon has been the beneficiary of billions of dollars in awards from the federal Department of War’s Arsenal of Freedom this year alone.
On Oct. 1, the company received a $24.4 billion contract for standard missile interceptors to increase the availability of munitions for offensive strikes and missile defense missions.

In September, Raytheon was awarded a multi-year contract valued at $20.7 billion for production of Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles, and in August the company received $22.9 billion to increase its output of Tomahawk missiles.
Its production of AMRAAM includes foreign sales to Denmark, Belgium, Japan, Netherlands, Canada, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Spain, Poland, Sweden, Taiwan, Lithuania, United Kingdom, Australia, Switzerland, Ukraine, Israel and Kuwait.
Raytheon’s AMRAAM is currently in service in 44 countries.
