Arizona Daily Star readers can always count on the usual liberal nonsense by Tucson Opinion writer Sheldon Metz, and his October 4th piece, "Not Republican, Tea Party or MAGA..." did not disappoint. This time Metz didn't even bother to check on a few of his stated facts. J.D. Vance attended Yale Law School, not Harvard as claimed by Metz. While a law student, Vance first met billionaire, Peter Thiel after attending a talk by Thiel at said Yale Law School. Metz implies that Thiel paid for Vance's college tuition yet offers no such proof. His lack of writing skills is even more laughable since he calls himself a "politics and history researcher". He certainly failed here on those counts. He owes readers an apology for his misinformation and deceptions. Perhaps he can take a page out the Tim Walz Book of Lies and say he "misspoke".
