Anadem for his head, tunic for his ample body (white, of course, to capture the purity of his station and being), sandals for his feet (easily slipped on and off after repetitive washing away the drool of supplicant proximity).
When autocratic power goes to one’s head, the anadem adornment and size thereof, both must be sufficient to accommodate an expanding head, and must have an appearance befitting a Caesar or Zeus.
I suggest a a crown of gamboge hue covered with auriferous sparkle. Or, if the adornment of the head must be a crown of thorns, it must have an aureate finish. But, how to replace a tunic of the whitest purity with the simple earthen color of labor and poverty is an imponderable mystery.
The sandals, however, gilded though they are, must remain for easy supplicant-access for the ritual cleansing of the Caesar’s odiferous feet for those who reside there.
